The semester just keeps getting harder and harder for me with each waking hour that goes by. Please pray for me!

My 23rd birthday is on Saturday. James is coming into town and I think that we're going to the Ren Fest. Yay!

So what has happened in the life of Gordo since the last time I wrote in here...

• The fall semester started and I'm commuting and I think that commuting is very gay and I hate it sooooo much. I actually miss living is Huntsvegas.
• Phi Lamb Rush Week. It was a total blast (even though I got sick and missed one night). I think we got an awesome group of girls, and one just happens to be from my home church.
• Wedding planning is like 90% done!!! All I really have left is picking out invitations.
• I don't think that I mention that I was working at the church on Mondays and Fridays...well I am. I'm also helping out with the youth group this semester. Fun stuff @ LHCN!
• I gave up eating meat (except for the occasional chicken breast). Sad, I know. It's mainly for health reasons. I still think that there's nothing better than a juicy steak or pigging out at Fogo de Chao, but I just choose not to go that route for a while.
• I went to Nordstrom for an early-birthday shopping spree and actually couln't find anything I liked. WTF?! How is it possible to not find something at your favorite store? Not even a pair of shoes!!!!!
• I've been working out at the gym so I can look foxy in my wedding dress and also for health reasons. I'm feeling great!!
• My blood sugar levels are actually normal for once and it's constantly normal.
• I bawled when I heard that Steve Irwin died. Oh, how I loved him so...
• I finally got over my Benji Schwimmer obsession and took his pic off my computer wallpaper. But I still think he's totally amazing!!!!!!!
• I love "Dancing with the Stars" and "Celebrity Duets"!!! I'm rooting for Mario Lopez, Joey Lawrence, Monique Coleman, Vivica Fox, Emmitt Smith, Hal Sparks, Alfonso Ribiero, and Jai Rodriguez. But when it comes down to the finals....we'll see.
• I also like the new show "Til Death" with Brad Garrett.
• I got a "speeding" ticket in Natchitoches, La. for going 66 in a 55. This only makes me hate Louisiana more...
• The original Star Wars (in it's purest form) came out on DVD this week. WHOOP!!!!

OK - so I think I wrapped up this past month in a few words. Maybe I'll summarized the events of September next month in another lengthy blog...

School starts next week and I'm sooooo NOT ready for it to start just yet. I had a stressful summer and I'm not done taking my "break."
